PBase is a photo sharing website, similar to Flickr in that it provides the opportunity to upload, store and share images and allows viewers to comment on, vote for, and 'favourite' photographs. Photographs on PBase are arranged in galleries rather than in a timeline. Pbase also has a forum, part of which is a weekly competition thread
In general, PBase is used more by serious amateur and semi professional photographers, whereas Flickr has a broader appeal, and is more of a 'community'.
